About
Hi there! My name is Anaya Jain, and I'm the one behind The Spoken Verse. I’m an HS Junior from California, an aspiring author, and an avid reader with a lifelong passion for literature. Ever since I published my first book in sixth grade, storytelling has been a core part of who I am. I'm especially drawn to poetry and how it allows us to explore identity, emotions, and the world around us in beautiful, powerful ways.I’m currently working on a new poetry collection and plan to pursue English & Psychology in college, because I believe in the deep connection between creative expression and emotional well-being.As part of my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, I created The Spoken Verse to share the joy of creative writing with especially adults, seniors, and families. My goal is to inspire others to find their voices through poetry, stories, and self-expression. Whether you're picking up a pen for the first time or rediscovering your love of words, there's a place here for you.
